About Evergreen High School
Evergreen High School is a community-centered school where ALL strive for excellence in service of student achievement. Located in Burien, WA, we serve approximately 1,066 students in grades 9-12 as part of Highline Public Schools. Our school community commits to four interconnected goals: ⢠Strengthening cultural responsiveness and community partnerships while celebrating diversity ⢠Establishing relationships grounded in trust, empathy, and belonging ⢠Setting high expectations with rigorous, standards-based instruction ⢠Supporting students in discovering their passions and achieving success in college, careers, and life As a designated Dual Language school, we offer 50% instruction in English and 50% in Spanish. IB World School
International Baccalaureate program offering globally recognized curriculum
Running Start
Dual credit program for juniors and seniors. Take college courses tuition-free at partner institutions. Earn both high school and college credit simultaneously. Now available during summer quarter for rising juniors/seniors. Possible to earn associate degree by graduation.
Dual Language Program
Spanish/English dual language program with 50% instruction in each language. Students take minimum one language arts course and one content course in Spanish. Open to native speakers of English, Spanish, and other languages. Students from Cascade Middle School dual language program are automatically enrolled.
